IHA Accepting Proposals For The Inspired Home Show Education Sessions

ROSEMONT, IL (Oct. 25, 2021)—The International Housewares Association (IHA) is accepting topic proposals for education sessions during The Inspired Home Show, IHA’s Global Home + Housewares Market. With a view on developing successful post-pandemic strategies, retailers, trend forecasters and marketers, intellectual property attorneys and designers, along with experts in branding, packaging and smart home and other crucial business topics, are invited to submit proposals for presentations in the Innovation Theater and Inventors Revue at the 2022 Show. Deadline for submissions is Dec. 15.

The Inspired Home Show, formerly known as the International Home + Housewares Show, will be held March 5-8 at Chicago’s McCormick Place Complex. Along with the more than 1,600 exhibitors, the Show features world-class industry education to help attendees grow their businesses. Speakers for the Innovation Theater and Inventors Revue come from within and outside of the housewares industry.

“The Inspired Home Show 2022 will mark an important reconnection of home + housewares suppliers, retailers, service providers and industry affiliates for product discovery and strategic planning,” said Peter Giannetti, director, editorial, content and education for IHA. “The Show has long been a leading platform for executive-level industry education across a wide scope of topics. The 2022 Show education program promises to be one of the most valuable ever with its focus on expert insights that can be put into action for success in a post-pandemic marketplace.”

Innovation Theater presentations will offer executive-level insights across a wide scope of themes, including trends in consumer behavior and purchasing; product design, packaging and retail environments; social media management; branding; intellectual property protection; supply chain management; targeting international and emerging markets; and smart home trends.

The Inventors Revue features topics of interest to makers and inventors, including developing a great idea; how to bring product to market; patent and trademark education; fulfillment housing; the importance of packaging; presenting to retailers; social media marketing; branding; product development; omnichannel strategies and lifestyle and color trends. Sessions are scheduled throughout the Show’s four days.
