IHA Trade Missions

IHA Trade Missions offer attendees a turn-key introduction to an international market. Buyer meetings, retail tours, receptions, transportation and hotel details are scheduled in advance, allowing attendees to gain a thorough understanding of the home and housewares industry in the global market which the Trade Mission is being held. Trade missions also allow for extensive networking with other industry participants who share common interests and goals.

Targeted Retailer Appointments Include: John Lewis, Tesco, TJX, Dunelm, Sainsbury’s, Argos, Harrods, Next, Robert Dyas, Homebase, A Place For Everything, Divertimenti, and Borough Kitchen.

The group will travel to appointments together, each attendee will have a “speed-dating-style” meeting with the retailers and the format at each retailer may vary based on how the retailer has chosen to accommodate the group.

Note: These are targeted retailers with which appointments may be made and are not yet confirmed. The appointment schedule is in process and will be communicated to registered attendees as soon as possible prior to the Trade Mission. 

How to register and what to expect:

IHA recommends that attendees book accommodations at the Strand Palace Hotel, located at 372 Strand, London WC2R 0JJ. Attendees will book and pay for their own room stay and are at liberty to stay at another hotel with the understanding that departures and returns will be centered around the group hotel.

Attendee fees include all group meals, daily transportation to retailer and distributor meetings and meeting facilitation.

$3,650 – Exhibiting IHA Member ($1,825 per additional attendee from same company)
$6,000 – Non-exhibiting IHA Member ($3,000 per additional attendee from same company)

Not included in attendee fees: Flights, hotel accommodation, airport transportation, visa/passport fees.

The IHA UK Trade Mission is being held in London, England and surrounding areas. The schedule is currently being confirmed and registered attendees will be apprised of updates as they are available.
