2018 Global Forum Recap: IBC General Meeting

On the second day of the 2018 Global Forum, Mark Adkison, IHA’s Vice President, International, preceded the IBC General Meeting to update the membership on access to member resources found in the IBC Member Portal. Following these updates, Giancarlo Barzotti, IBC’s President, highlighted upcoming global programs offered to IHA’s membership, presented awards and acknowledged the IBC board of directors.

IBC members earn credits for participating in educational sessions such as the Global Forum, and for taking part in IHA Trade Missions. IBC members are awarded through the group’s Global Trade Specialist program. This year, the following award was presented:

Giancarlo also thanked and acknowledged the IBC board of directors for their service to the membership. As Microplane’s Joel Arivett leaves the IBC Board as past president, one open board position is available. IBC members interested in serving on the Board are asked contact Lori Szudarek for more information.
