70 new products advance to next round of judging leading up to The Inspired Home Show® 2025
ROSEMONT, ILL. (Feb. 11, 2025)—The International Housewares Association announced today that seventy new products have been selected as finalists for the 2025 IHA Global Innovation Awards (gia) for Excellence in Product Design. The annual program recognizes and promotes distinction in the home and housewares industry.
“We’re pleased to recognize these innovative brands and offer another platform to elevate creative new products for the home,” said Derek Miller, IHA president and CEO. “Product innovation has always been – and always will be – key to driving industry growth.”
These products – five in each of 14 categories – will move on to a second round of judging the day before The Inspired Home Show® opens in early March. Fourteen Global Honorees – one in each category – will be announced at the invitation-only gia dinner on Sunday, March 2.

Each of these products will be featured at The Inspired Home Show 2025, March 2-4 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. A special gia display in the Hall of Global Innovation (Grand Concourse Lobby of the North Building) will showcase the products to the nearly 30,000 people who attend the Show. Products will also be included in New Product Showcases, located in the Buyers Clubs in the North and South Halls.
Entries were judged by an independent panel of industry experts, which included designers, media, retailers and buyers from Cooks Warehouse, Dillard’s, Divertimenti, Friedman Design, HTI Buying Group, In The Kitchen, Leon & Lulu, the National Building Museum, Nebraska Furniture Mart, Pampered Chef, Quality Products, Sign of the Bear, Toque Blanche and Yestis.
