Warren Shoulberg, Editor-At-Large, HFN

Warren Shoulberg knows home. As HFN’s Editor-At-Large, as well as serving as Editorial Director for two other Progressive Business Media publications – Home & Textiles Today and Gifts and Decorative Accessories – and throughout a career spent as an editor, he’s followed the trials and tribulations of the industry for a long time.

Shoulberg’s been sharing his opinions in regular commentary columns for most of that time, something that has garnered him both journalistic awards and angry responses. He welcomes both equally.

Shoulberg has been honored by the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and the International Furnishings and Design Association, and is often quoted in such general media as The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal and CNN. He is a guest lecturer at the Columbia Graduate School of Business and FIT.

Maureen Azzato, Publisher & Editorial Director, HFN

Maureen Azzato was promoted to publisher of HFN, total home innovation and inspiration for retail executives, in January 2017 after serving as chief brand officer for 18 months. HFN is owned by Progressive Business Media, which also publishes Furniture Today, Home Accents Today, Home & Textiles Today and Gifts & Decorative Accessories, among other titles.

Prior to joining HFN, Azzato operated her own content creation and communications business for eight years where she was contracted by numerous publishers, trade associations and research companies across retail, housewares, foodservice and sustainability. Before launching her own business, she was vice president, publisher and editorial director of Convenience Store News, published by Nielsen Business Media, where she worked for 17 years.

Azzato’s early career was spent as a newspaper journalist with several daily and weekly papers in Massachusetts and New Jersey. She graduated from Boston College with a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications.
