Mike Popchuk, a 15 year Amazon veteran, is the Category Leader for Amazon’s Home and Kitchen businesses in the U.S. He also has responsibility for Amazon’s Fabric.com subsidiary based out of Kennesaw, GA and two additional operationally focused internal teams, the first of which focuses on company-wide supply chain improvements and a second that centers on initiatives designed to drive operational improvements within the U.S. Hardlines business.

Prior to assuming his current role in 2015, Mike was the head of finance for the U.S. Retail Consumer Electronics business and the company’s B2B initiative, Amazon Business from 2014-2015. Mike also spent 2010-2014 as the Finance Director for Technology and Payments. Within Amazon, Mike has also held several senior leadership positions within IT Infrastructure / Amazon Web Services where he was responsible for data center capacity planning and IT supply chain management and as well as Fulfillment Operations where he held a variety of roles ranging from supply chain management, program management for new fulfillment center launches, and site leadership within various fulfillment center locations.

Joe Derochowski, Circana home industry advisor, had an upbeat message in a keynote session at The Inspired Home Show 2025, telling attendees that the housewares industry is poised for steady growth both in units and dollars through 2030 because “there’s no place like home.”
