IHA and HomePage News to Co-Host Webinar Examining New Consumer Outlook Report

ROSEMONT, ILL (April 25, 2022)–The International Housewares Association and HomePage News will co-host a webinar May 3 examining the inaugural HomePage News Consumer Outlook Report.

During this exclusive program, Peter Giannetti, HomePage News editor-in-chief, and Leana Salamah, IHA vice president, marketing, will highlight key findings from the first annual HomePage News Consumer Outlook survey, commissioned by IHA to assess key consumer purchase intent factors, including preferred products, features, pricepoints and retail channels, in 15 core housewares categories.

The categories include:

  • Bakeware
  • Cleaning Tools
  • Cookware
  • Cutlery
  • Dinnerware
  • Drinkware
  • Flatware
  • Floor Care Electrics
  • Glassware
  • Home Environment
  • Kitchen Electrics
  • Kitchen Textiles
  • Kitchen Tools & Gadgets
  • Personal Care & Wellness
  • Storage & Organization

The session also will show how the 2022 Consumer Outlook Report is a valuable, on-demand tool for both suppliers and retailers that can help bring timely precision to strategic home product and marketing development as consumers recalibrate lifestyles and shopping preferences for a post-pandemic era.

The free, one-hour webinar begins at 1 p.m. CDT. The complete Outlook Report can be accessed at HomePageNews.com/outlook-2022.

The 2022 Consumer OutlookReport continues the research collaboration between IHA and HomePage News, which began with the HomePage News2022 Occasions Report that was released in February. The Occasions Report showcases analysis and insights into consumer gift preferences and shopping behaviors based on each of eight key life events expected to shape special occasions in 2022: engagements, bridal showers, weddings, new home ownership, new pet ownership, baby showers, off to college and retirement. It is available free of charge and can be accessed at HomePageNews.com/occasions.
