Your company can help Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico recover from Hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria.

As residents of Texas, Florida, and now Puerto Rico, continue to struggle with the destruction wrought by Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria, IHA is partnering once again with Good360 to provide hurricane victims with home products as they rebuild their lives and homes. Twelve years ago, IHA partnered with Good360 in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, and the housewares industry responded with a generous heart to help New Orleans recover.

We’re pleased to partner with Good360 and leverage the generosity of the housewares industry to help make a difference for thousands of hurricane victims,” said Phil Brandl, IHA president & CEO. “Good360 is an organization with an impeccable track record of distributing needed products in a well-managed and structured way. Their corporate partners in disaster recovery include Walmart, Crate & Barrel, Restoration Hardware, CVS and UPS.”

According to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in Texas approximately 450,000 people need assistance, and more than 30,000 residents have been displaced from their homes. In Florida, the numbers are more staggering. Now Puerto Rico is also left in a state of devastation.

Here’s how your company can help:

Product Donations

Currently, Good360 is working closely with FEMA to help shelters with immediate needs such as personal items, toiletries and water. Efforts will move very soon into the recovery and rebuilding phases that will last for months and years.  Your company and other IHA members can help Good360 pre-position product to help in the rebuilding phase.

If your company has product that can help in any stage of the disaster, please consider helping and complete Good360’s online donation form. Good360 staff will get your donated product to the right place at the right time to best assist the victims of Harvey, Irma and Maria. When making a donation, be sure to let Good360 know you are an IHA member.

As always, Good360 will provide full transparency, tracking and reporting for your product donation and will also provide impact stories and photos. If you have questions related to donating product to assist Harvey victims, please contact Jim Alvey, Director of Corporate Development at Good360.

Your company’s product donations will help make a difference for thousands of hurricane victims.
