As a preview into the upcoming IBC Global Forum, to follow is additional information on the retail overview session presented by James Norris, Merchandise Manager of London Drugs:

With more than 17 years of experience working for London Drugs, James Norris, Merchandise Manager, has vast experience working with products in the non-electric housewares, hardware, laundry, cleaning, smart home and connected fitness categories.  London Drugs has 80 stores in 35 markets across Western Canada and is well known to the Canadian consumer as a retailer that is fast to react to trends and products.  Throughout Canada, the company is recognized as a price leader and operates in an entrepreneurial manner, which adds to the reasons that the retailer maintains its loyal customer following.

During his presentation at the Global Forum, James will describe how London Drugs operates within the competitive landscape of the Canadian market, how the retailer selects products and goes to market through the brick and mortar as well as online sales channels. Additionally, he will cover what makes for best practices for suppliers which sell to London Drugs, a privately owned retailer within the Canadian market, where the home and housewares sales are above US$2.5 billion.
