IHA continues successful partnership with International Housewares Shippers Association (IHSA).

The International Housewares Shippers Association (IHSA) is the not-for-profit shippers’ association formed by IHA to lower supply chain costs for its members at the highest quality service levels. Through combined leverage of members, IHSA negotiates freight contracts with more cost-effective rates from the best carriers available to allow members to improve supply chain performance.

  • Membership is free and open to companies belonging to IHA
  • Over $1M in Member Rewards refunded since 2005
  • Ocean freight savings achieved through stable pricing
  • Support issues are elevated to top carrier personnel
  • No need to change your customs broker or freight forwarder
  • Experienced management team

Read what current members have to say about the benefits of IHSA:

Evan Dash – CEO, StoreBound LLC
“We have been using the Shipper’s Association for the past 2 years. Using the IHSA, we have been able to realize significant savings while continuing to use our appointed freight forwarder. In addition to the cost savings, we have been extremely pleased with the level of service we received as well as the clout the association is able to leverage with the carriers. Whenever we have hot shipments or if our factories fail to deliver on time, the IHSA steps in to ensure we meet our customer’s deadlines.”

Steve Santulli – Vice President, Certified International Corp.
“IHSA has been a perfect fit for my business. By having IHSA negotiate our shipping rates, I have more time to focus on managing and growing my business.”

IHA member companies looking to reduce their ocean freight costs or have questions about an ocean freight issue are encouraged to contact IHSA to learn more about the program. Contact IHSA at +1(513)489-4743 and learn more on our website.
