Meir Mareyna

As a preview to his presentation during the upcoming IBC Global Forum, the following is a brief on Meir Mareyna and his distribution company, Tendencias y Conceptos.

The Mexican economy is ranked 13th in the world with a GDP of $1.5 trillion with 49% of total imports coming from the U.S.  With nearly 60 years of experience importing and distributing home and housewares products throughout Mexico, Tendencias y Conceptos has realized the potential of this market and has become an expert in the industry, building strong partnerships with a significant number of top global home and housewares brands.  Within Mexico, Tendencias y Conceptos has developed a very strong network of retail clients, concentrating their distribution on key retailers including Liverpool, El Palacio de Hierro, Soriana, HEB Mexico and Walmart.

Working with suppliers, Tendencias y Conceptos provides support on all aspects of the importation and sales process, helping with such services as required translations, over-stickering, package modification and delivery.  Tendencias y Conceptos searches for products that demonstrate innovation and have a valued-added component for the end consumer.

Capable of accepting shipments from Laredo (Northern Mexico), Veracruz (on the Gulf of Mexico) or Manzanillo (Central Mexico on the Pacific Ocean), Tendencias y Conceptos has an exemplary fill rate, sighted as being among the best in the industry.  This distributor has achieved a very prominent reputation among retailers and suppliers alike, as they focus on professional and customer services to both sets of clients.

During his presentation, Meir Mareyna will discuss how Tendencias y Conceptos has differentiated themselves from other distributors and their keys to success for three generations in the Mexican market.

The 2017 IBC Global Forum takes place in Miami from September 17-19.  Additional information and registration details are available online.
